We have been sending our Spoodle Libby to the Dog Den for around 2 years and we wouldn’t send her anywhere else. We absolutely love it and so does she! Libby can’t wait to run in when we drop her off and all the handlers are so lovely. We love seeing the photos that are uploaded every day. It’s so nice for us to know she is being well looked after whilst we’re at work. It’s always easy to book slots in and everyone is so helpful. Libby has also stayed overnight at the boarding facility, and we couldn’t recommend more. I always recommend TDD to anyone I meet with a dog! 10/10!!

My puppy couldn’t socialize with any other dogs during the Lockdown and the Dog Den has immensely helped Bella become comfortable with other dogs. They also provide me with a full update after each visit.
Being first time puppy owners choosing the right puppy pre-school was so important to us. Steve and Helen were great answering all of my questions in advance so we knew what to expect and so welcoming each week even remembering all the puppies names. Preschool was great - Lynn the trainer was amazing and the classes weren’t limited to training but also covered grooming, well-being and whatever else people were struggling with. The class was disrupted for Covid lockdown and the communication from Dog Den team during this was outstanding. We have finished preschool feeling less overwhelmed and are now excited to have Bailey start daycare at the Dog Den confident that Steve and Helen love her as much as we do and that she will have the best time.
Just had my Spoodle groomed at The Dog Den and they have done an amazing job!! Great cut and he smells lush, very reasonably priced too.

The dog den has been a fantastic doggy daycare for our golden retriever Rosie for over a year now. She has made wonderful friends both dog and human and can't wait to get in whenever she goes. The handlers and trainers are all so wonderful not only with Rosie but also with our family. We have had some health issues in the family, and nothing has been too much trouble for them from having Rosie at short notice to keeping her late when we needed it. We couldn't be happier that we found this place for Rosie, and neither could she!
The Dog Den Takapuna is a great place with a fantastic team! My dog usually doesn’t like being away from us, but that’s not the case here—she happily runs to Helen and the team, excited to play with her furry friends and get cuddles from the lovely humans. She absolutely loves farm day too, where she gets to explore nature, swim, and have a blast with her pals. As an owner, I feel so grateful to have a place where my dog is not only well looked after but truly happy!
Our little fur boy goes to the Takapuna Dog Den and they are amazing with him! They take such good care of him in day care and he loves it! They provide such a good service, and we highly recommend them to anyone that wants an amazing day care 😁🐶

Best doggy daycare ever—a safe, happy place away from home! Our pup has been going to The Dog Den ever since he was fully vaccinated as a puppy, and he absolutely loves "going to school" and getting cuddles from the handlers. It's been almost four years since he started, and although we've tried other daycares temporarily due to changes in our work location and convenience, we always come back to The Dog Den because they are truly the best in terms of care. Most importantly, they understand our pup's needs really well.
