Overnight Care
The Dog Den Country Club is situated just minutes away from the Puhoi on ramp/off ramp, on beautiful private farmland. We offer in-home VIP Boarding, as well as our Farm Stays, situated in the indoor daycare facility, so they have a familiar environment from sunrise to sundown.
Dogs who board receive complimentary daycare from the morning of drop off until the day of pick up. Our standard boarding rate is all-inclusive, meaning up to 12 hours of exercise and socialization with canine and human friends, extended playtime among just the boarding dogs, mealtimes per your dog’s schedule, complimentary medication administration, regular updates, and the use of our bedding, if you so choose. That said, boarding dogs participate in our regular naptime from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. and receive additional rest breaks throughout the day to ensure they are not overstimulated.
For nighttime rest, we encourage bringing personal food, toys and bedding from home for additional comfort. Each dog is provided their own appropriately-sized, home-style kennel for comfort and safety overnight, but your dog will rest easy next to their siblings and among their Country Club friends. We provide alternative housing options for dogs who are unfamiliar with crates at home, in our VIP area.
We try to make each stay as cozy as possible with bedding and toys, as appropriate, but by the time night falls, your dog will be experiencing “the dog den hangover” and should sleep well after their full day of fun!
We can also provide adventure walks and grooming services during their stay.
New customers will be required to undertake and pass a trial, prior to any long-term stay (2 or more nights). This meeting will give our team a chance to meet your pup and learn whether or not they will enjoy the energy of our unique environment. As we want to ensure they are going to be comfortable staying with us for the duration.
Country Club Stays
Our Country Club Stays will be available soon for anyone seeking overnight care. Our daycare facility is furnished with custom designed homestyle kennels and runs, and will be monitored by our staff living on site. Providing 24/7 supervision and care in the event of an emergency. Each guest will have their own spacious sleeping area, with access to freshwater.

Farm House Stays (VIP Boarding)
Your dog will receive one-on-one care at night, while staying in the Farm House with our team members. Making them feel more at home, giving them human company and attention.
Our VIP area is an area of the house that is dedicated to our furry guests. At night they will be sleeping in our VIP room (the main living room in the house), in their own beds or on the couch. We also have crates available for those that may wonder during the night or that just need to be tucked up in their “den”, to feel at home.
This is a very limited service available to a small number of dogs at any one time. It is important that all guests are settled at night, without causing any disturbance to the team or the other dogs, to allow them to continue their stay. All guests in the Farm House will need to be house trained and be non-destructive.
Pricing:
$80 per night / per dog
IMPORTANT!
Our team live on site, and out of courtesy of our neighbours, and also to protect our Resource Consent we are unable to take dogs that continue to be noisy (barking/howling/crying), such as barking at night, or crying/howling due to separation of human contact. If there is a continued problem with noise levels, we will unfortunately have to contact you to come and collect them.
