The Dog Den - Taxi Service

This will help prioritise our visits, us if we are running late (due to trouble with traffic or other visits planned on the same trip.

(1) Our Taxi Service is available for VIP Silver or VIP Gold Day Care customers only. We do not offer this service to casual daycare customers. We do not offer this service for dog(s) that are boarding with us.

(2) Regular weekly bookings are preferred to secure a place in the taxi.

(3) We require 24 hours notice to cancel, allowing us enough time to fill your space by other others on the waitlist.

(4) A request for the taxi service shall be made in writing via email to puhoi@thedogden.co.nz. Please allow 24 hours to make a request and for us to confirm the request has been accepted.

(5) Unfortunately we are unable to give an exact time for pick up and drop offs. When booking we will give an 60 minute arrival time window. Our taxi services operates weekdays only.

(6) We do not keep or accept client keys. Our preference is that some one is at the house or a lock box with a digit code, that will left out for us on daycare days.

(7) Customers must be home for the first pick up.

(8) We do not pick up dogs that are booked for a trial.

(9) Once your dog(s) has been securely returned to your property, The Dog Den is no longer responsible or liable for the dog(s) and their actions.

(10) We are a farm-based daycare and boarding centre, and this means on occasion your dog(s) maybe wet and/or muddy when returning home.

(11)  If we are unable to access your property or collect your dog(s), due to no one home, keys are not available, or not being able to locate or access your dog(s), we will do our best to make contact with you to successfully pick up or drop off. However we allow a max of 10 minutes per pick up/ drop off.   Alternative arrangements to collect your dog will need to be made if we are unable to successfully drop off your dog(s) as scheduled.
